When the GHD Mk3 was launched it really did revolutionise hair straightening and for a while was the only product on the market worth having. We’re now onto the Mark 4 Styler and it is still a great product, however, there are now a few serious challengers to GHD’s crown as King of the straighteners.
Are GHD straighteners the hottest irons on the market? Well, the answer is no. FHI straighteners actually go slightly hotter than GHD, all the way up to 232 degrees, although you should never use straighteners on the maximum temperature unless you have very thick hair. They are a very high quality iron with a range of excellent features including negative ion generation. At £74.95 they are also slightly cheaper and are available in black and pink.
If you want to add a bit of bling to your straightening, try the Gorgeous Straighteners, which have beautiful diamante crystals set on the back of the iron.
